Supporting Exports and Promotion of Japanese Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Products and Food. JETRO fully utilizes domestic and international networks to contribute to government goals of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products and food export value of two trillion yen by 2025 and five trillion yen by 2030 besides the stimulus of government-promoted local regions.

Together with the Japan Food Product Overseas Promotion Center (JFOODO), which was established in 2017, we are galvanizing an “all-Japan” effort to expand these exports by creating a stronger platform for overseas Business-to-Consumer (B2C) promotions and branding projects in close cooperation with production areas and relevant organizations to enhance brand identity for Japanese food and culture and stimulate demand in overseas markets.
