Call for cooperation examples of best practice within the “Japanese-German/German-Japanese Innovation Initiative 160”

On the 160th Anniversary of Japan-Germany Friendship in 2021, JETRO and Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI) launched the “Japanese-German/German-Japanese Innovation Initiative 160”. Upholding the Initiative, JETRO and GTAI promote new Japanese-German innovations contributing to solving global issues such as climate change, low birthrate and ageing society, COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, SDGs and food supply crisis by making successful innovations widely known. Ahead of the next milestone, the 200th Anniversary of Japan-Germany Friendship, good practices are being solicited annually. Several initiatives will be honored at the play-up event in December 2022 as 'Best Practices of the Year'. Are you aware of any applicable initiatives? 「日独イノベーション」による地球規模の課題解決成功事例を募集！

　日本貿易振興機構（JETRO）とドイツ貿易・投資振興機関（GTAI）は、2021 年、日独交流160 周年を記念して立ち上げた「日独イノベーションイニシアチブ160」のフォローアップの一環として、気候変動問題、少子高齢化、新型コロナウイルス等感染症問題、SDGｓ、食糧問題をはじめとする地球規模の課題解決に向けた日独のイノベーション成功事例を広く知らしめることにより、新たな成功事例の創出の促進を目指しています。次の節目である日独200周年へ向け、毎年新たな事例を積み上げていくため、模範となる日独イノベーションのプレイアップ事例を募集いたします。なお、ご応募いただきました事例のうち、数例については2022年12月のプレイアップイベントにて「今年のベストプラクティス」として発表予定です。
