Final award winners out of contest winners - Japan Challenge for Society 5.0 -Accelerate Innovation with Japan-

The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) has selected 15 final award winners out of 45 contest winners of “Japan Challenge for Society 5.0 -Accelerate Innovation with Japan-”, a contest which was held in 2021 for the purpose of exploring overseas startups that propose solutions for Japan’s social challenges to collaborate with Japanese companies. (Cf. JETRO News & Updates dated Sep 27, 2021) These 15 winners are considered to have strong potential for succeeding in Japan with JETRO’s support.

JETRO has already provided two awards to 45 contest winners; one is mentoring with experts in Japanese business (mentors) and the other is online one-to-one business matching support with potential partners at the “JETRO Global Connection” booth in CEATEC 2021 ONLINE (Cf. JETRO News&Updates dated Oct 6, 2021)

The qualified 15 award winners will be provided with a final award, such as intensive virtual support by JETRO in addition to a physical invitation to Japan to conduct business matching with Japanese companies and municipalities, taking into account COVID-19.
