JETRO Chairman Ishiguro Meets Governor Gianforte of Montana, USA

On October 22, Chairman Ishiguro met with Governor Greg Gianforte of Montana, USA. They exchanged views on the state’s high-tech industry strengths such as quantum and photonics, as well as on enhancing future collaborations between the state and JETRO.
On the same day at the JETRO Headquarters, the “Montana Business Seminar” was held to showcase the state’s business and investment environment, highlighting Montana’s strengths in photonics and quantum technologies, with expectations visibly high for future collaboration with Japan. Approximately 50 representatives from Japanese companies attended the seminar.
