We have been accepting overseas personnel for about 10 years, and 17% of our employees, about 85 people, are overseas personnel. We provide engineering design services in many areas, among which we are looking for people to be in charge of mechanical design, electrical/electronic design, and architectural design, as well as information. We are looking for graduates from a university or school in the sciences for these positions. For mechanical design, electrical/electronic design, and architectural design, new hires should have studied mechanics, electrical and electronic engineering, or architecture at an engineering school, etc., while for information positions, they should have studied information fields at an information-related faculty, etc., but this is not a requirement. We expect them to be at least at N2 level in Japanese, but if they are not at that level, they will be required to take in-house training to pass the N2 test after joining the company. We believe that "people are our most-valuable asset," so we provide not only basic education at the time of entry but also regular training, along with support for career development, from the acquisition of qualifications necessary for work to support for acquiring national certifications and other career-building opportunities. In addition to our head office, we have nine other offices in Tokyo, Shizuoka, and Fukuoka, etc., all of which have dormitories for single employees, used by many, including overseas personnel.
