| Summay of notice | ⑴ Classification of the products to be procured : 14 ⑵ Nature and quantity of the products to be rent : Campus Information Infrastructure System 1 Set ⑶ Type of the procurement : Rent ⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement : A The system consists of the following main components ; a campus-wide information infrastructure system, an educational computer provision system, a learning management system, and a library information system. To support education and research activities in the university, the system should have sufficient resources and capability for computational needs of 8,000 students and 3,000 faculty-members including administrative staff members. B The campus-wide information infrastructure system, centered on constituent management functions, should be integrated with various servers related to the educational computer provision system, authentication servers, e-mail systems, the learning management system, and the library information system. It should offer stability and fault tolerance, as well as scalability and flexibility. C The educational computer provision system should offer the secured educational environment with enough performance and functions for information literacy education and relevant professional education to students. D The learning management system is used as the main component for on-line educational support. The main functions include distribution of learning materials, report management and communication between students and staffs. E The library system should offer sufficient functions for both librarians' daily operations and services for library users. F All above mentioned systems should be connected to the campus network. They therefore should be ensured high security and reliability with high performance.In addition, it is necessary that the new system and the other existing systems are in relation for further utilization. G The system must be capable of operation throughout the day except for regular maintenances. It must be recovered promptly and perfectly by the appropriate team when failed.
