Message from organizer The first Global Tea Fair was held in 2008. It is one of the largest tea industry fairs in China, with hundreds of thousands of tea vendors participating. Chinese President Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the development of the tea industry and exchange through tea culture and has expressed many views on the development of Chinese tea. After the opening of the Shenzhen Exhibition Center, he promoted the holding of distinctive "tea events" throughout the country using "tea culture" to fully promote rural development and the upliftment of tea culture.
