| Message from organizer | From 2010 to 2015, Vietnam's agricultural mechanization progressed rapidly. On average, the use of power per hectare of farmland reached 1.6 HP and for rice cultivation reached 2.2 HP, which is lower than in Asian countries. In 2013, the total number of tractors increased 1.5 times and the number of harvesters increased 4.3 times in 2013 compared to 2006 (numbers in the Mekong Delta region). In addition, sprayers and plant protection equipment increased by 5.8%, and agricultural water pumps increased by a factor of 1.2. |
