[RFP] Request for Japanese Film/TV Content for Promotion at "J-Screen 2025"

GENERAL INFORMATION 

  1. Subject: Call for Participants: J-Screen 
  2. Event Date: November 19th, 2025 
  3. Closing Date for Application: 15:00 (PDT) on October 21st, 2025 
  4. Project Overview: As indicated in Application Guidelines (Attachment 1) 
  5. Number of Successful Applications:
    1. Sample Reel: Approximately 6 works total
    2. On-stage Presentation: Approximately 3 works total 

         
        INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS 

        1. Qualification Requirement
          1. Prospective candidate(s) / content(s) engaged in the project must satisfy conditions stated in the Application Guidelines (Attachment 1) 
          2. Not under the circumstances of being denied participation due to unethical and/or unlawful activities by either JETRO or Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). 
        2. Submission Requirements
          1. Details for submitting a Sample Reel 
            1. Reel must be 30 seconds to 1 minute 
            2. Must be film or other video work such as TV series 
            3. Available for viewing in the U.S. and a title that either has already been released or is scheduled to be released within the next few months 
            4. Available with English audio, dub or subtitles 
            5. Must be provided in mp4 format
          2. Details for applying for the On-stage Presentation 
            1. Must be involved in a film or other video work such as TV series 
            2. Must be a director, producer or other key production member involved in a title that has either been released this year or will be scheduled for release within the next few months  
            3. Must be able to provide a Reel for your title you are presenting for (look above for Reel requirements) 
            4. Must be able to present in English (about 3 minutes) 
            5. Must be able to travel to their event at their own expense
            6. Must be able to be available for media

        6. Announcement of Tender
          Tender will be announced to bidders by email. Given the nature of the bidding process, JETRO will refrain from providing feedback on the results.
