GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Subject: JETRO “Deeptech Researcher Launch Programme”
2. Closing Date for Applications: 17:00 (UK time) on 8th October 2026
3. Term of Contract: From the contract start date to 31 March 2027
4. Content of Contract: As indicated in the Specifications (Attachment 1)
INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS
1. Qualification Requirements
1) Applicants engaged in the project must satisfy the requirements set out in the Deeptech Researcher Launch Programme Specifications (Attachment 1).
2) Applicants must not be prohibited from participating in procurement procedures by JETRO or the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) due to previous unethical and/or unlawful activities.
3) Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
A) Be an accelerator, venture capital firm, or other relevant organisation
B) Have a proven track record across the UK and Europe
2. Preparation of Applications
1) Applications shall be prepared in accordance with the Proposal Preparation Guidelines (Attachment 2).
2) Applications submitted orally, by telephone, or via fax will not be accepted. Each Applicant shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of its application.
3. Delivery of Applications
All application documents listed below must be submitted to the following email addresses by 17:00 (UK time) on 8th October 2026.

5. Evaluation of Applications:
Applications will be evaluated by JETRO London and JETRO Headquarters.
6. Notification of Results
Applicants will be notified of the results by email. Given the nature of the evaluation process, JETRO reserves the right to withhold detailed feedback on the evaluation results.
