May 20, 2024

JETRO London, together with Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Embassy of Japan in the UK (EOJ) and Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), will hold an open innovation event, "The Future of a Sustainable Society - Japan-UK Tech Collaboration", in London, in conjunction with London Tech Week.

Regarding the event, part of the activities will be in line with the Japan-UK governmental agreement in industrial science, innovation, and technology.

For the purposes of business matching and networking opportunities, invitations are open to UK startups/SMEs, VCs/CVCs, as well as ecosystem players such as accelerators and academia. We will arrange reverse pitch sessions from Japanese companies within 3 different sectors to fit to our set themes, as well as a panel discussion to provide critical elements for open innovation project formation/business development. This will then be followed by a networking session.
