In October 2021, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) published the English version of "Manga Examination Guidelines - AI/IoT Edition," a manga version of the basic concept of patent examination guidelines about AI/IoT-related technologies of great social interest. This is intended to inform non-patent professionals around the world about the examination standards for patents in Japan, and to stimulate interest in patent examination in Japan.

 

It is available in a variety of languages to help spread the word globally. We have recently created an Arabic version. We hope you will find it useful.

 

Please note that the Arabic version is a provisional translation. In case of any discrepancy between the original (Japanese) and the Arabic version, the Japanese version shall prevail. The translation was done by SABA & Co. Intellectual Property.
