[Announcement] University Connect Series

To encourage diversity, innovation, and international competitiveness of Japanese companies, JETRO is actively promoting the participation of highly skilled foreign professionals in Japanese and Japanese-affiliated companies. In line with these efforts, JETRO launched the JETRO Overseas University Connect (JOUC) which aims to provide networking opportunities between highly skilled foreign professionals and Japanese companies.

The JOUC is a series of online and face-to-face sessions for Japanese companies to be introduced to overseas universities that are active in supporting students to find employment in Japan, with the aim of promoting direct recruitment of highly skilled talent.

Since its launch in 2024, JETRO has introduced over 10 overseas universities to hundreds of Japanese companies through the JOUC webinars and networking events.

JETRO is actively looking to partner with reputable universities around the world to introduce to Japanese companies.
