Smart Manufacturing Collaboration : Phase 1

The main purpose under Phase 1 was in creating awareness and educating the local SMEs. Through 10 different business seminars conducted across 5 major states nationwide, we introduced some of the Japanese Industry 4.0 solutions as well as educated the local SMEs on the fundamental concept surrounding smart manufacturing technologies . 

 

The inaugural seminar was conducted on 2nd May 2019 at MITI Tower, officiated by then Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Dr. Ong Kian Ming with an attendance of approximately 500 pax. 

 

Altogether, 10 business seminars involving 1,100 participants from Malaysian manufacturing and manufacturing-related services companies were conducted throughout this phase from May 2019 to February 2020.
