Tech Biz Expo 2011
JETRO Nagoya is inviting overseas corporations to Tech Biz Expo 2011, a trade show held in Nagoya, focused on the latest component technologies including the fields of materials & material processing (cutting, surface structure reforming, junction & adhesion), diagnostics, measurement and inspection tools etc, in order to provide opportunities for procurement of parts, components and machines in relation to the above. Manufacturers located in the Greater Nagoya region include Toyota, Yamaha, Denso, Brother, NGK, Suzuki, Noritake and so on. Thousands of suppliers - small and medium enterprises (SMEs) - to those big names accumulate in this region as well. One-on-one business meetings between program participants and highly skilled Japanese SMEs are to be arranged by JETRO to give you the opportunity to expand your business potential (free interpretation available if necessary). Nagoya, the center and hub of the Tokai region (Aichi, Mie, Gifu and Shizuoka Prefectures), is considered a champion of the manufacturing sector in Japan as the city is home to the headquarters of well-known world corporations and their vast and rich industrial clusters. Manufacturers (with more than four employees) number more than 34,000. More than 700 corporations possess over 92,000 patents. The clusters vary from automobiles, automotive parts and aircraft components, to electronics and advanced materials. The automotive and related corporations alone number more than 3,200 in this region. Tech Biz Expo 2011 provides participants an excellent opportunity to network with not only exhibitors but also other visitors magnetized by this strong industrial base.
