The Toyama General Manufacturing Industry Trade Fair 2017 is one of the greatest international trade fair in the Japan sea side. The history of the fair starts in 1999; well known as NEAR (North East Asia Region Economic Expo) and had been held in every two year in general.
Toyama prefecture is located at the center of Japan; the first industrial center in the Japan sea side as well. Hence, there are many opportunities in this fair from overseas and also domestic companies.

The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is now expecting applications from overseas companies to Water Business Matching Program in Osaka and Shiga. JETRO will organize individual business meetings between the overseas companies and the Japanese companies in their respected field. This invitation program is organized by JETRO Osaka, Osaka Prefectural Government and Shiga Prefectural Government with the support of Osaka Foundation for Trade and Industry, Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry and also Biwako Environmental Business Exhibition Executive Committee.
