Dunaújváros is situated by the River Danube with 46,000 inhabitants in Fejér County. 

It is easy to access from Budapest on the M6 Highway, it takes approximately 1 hour by car. 

SD DUNAFERR Company Group seated in Dunaújváros is one of the largest industrial producers in Hungary, manufacturing of competitive steel products. 

In 2004, the city’s greatest employer ISD DUNAFERR Ltd. was privatized. The number of employees is 6,000 at the moment. 

Hankook Tire Hungary Ltd. has been operating in Dunaújváros. The group has built a major European centre of tire production on the outskirt of the town. The number of employees is between 4-5,000. 

The College of Dunaújváros has been operating as an independent institution since 2000. The College’s educational model follows the requirements of the labour market. The College of Dunaújváros will operate as a university from 2016.
