JETRO to Host “Global Startup EXPO 2025” at the Osaka-Kansai Expo Site — Creating Opportunities for Startup Co-Creation and International Partnerships —

The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), will host a global event titled “Global Startup EXPO 2025” on Wednesday, September 17 and Thursday, September 18, at the Osaka-Kansai Expo site. The event will invite domestic and international startups, particularly in the deep tech sector, along with entrepreneurs and top investors.
Overview of “Global Startup EXPO 2025”
This event brings together leading investors and entrepreneurs from Japan and abroad — like Mike Collins (Alumni Ventures) and Tomoko Namba (Japan Business Federation) — to explore how startups can help solve global challenges. Under the theme 'Shaping the Future with Startups', we’ll feature keynotes, panels, startup showcases, pitches, and networking, covering topics like health, sustainability, enriched life, and emerging tech.
