JETRO Chairman Ishiguro Meets Governor Stein of North Carolina, USA

On October 30, Chairman Ishiguro met with Governor Josh Stein of North Carolina, USA. They exchanged views on recent large-scale investments by Japanese companies in the state, as well as on future collaboration between the state and JETRO to further promote and support investment.
On the same day at the JETRO Headquarters, the “North Carolina Business Seminar” was held to showcase the state’s business and investment environment, highlighting its strengths in biotechnology clusters and human resources development programs. Approximately 80 representatives from Japanese companies attended the seminar.
