JETRO Signs MOC with Pro Ecuador

On August 28, JETRO Chairman Ishiguro signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) with Ms. Ileana Carolina Maldonado Vélez, Executive Director of Pro Ecuador, Ecuador’s trade and investment promotion agency, to strengthen trade and investment between the two countries. As a result of the official visit to Japan by H.E. Mr. Daniel Noboa Azin, President of the Republic of Ecuador, the MOC was formally presented in the presence of both leaders at the Prime Minister’s Office. JETRO also received a courtesy visit from H.E. Mr. Luis Alberto Jaramillo, Ecuador’s Minister of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries.
