- Gulfood 2025 is the largest food trade show in the Middle East, attracting more than 5,500 exhibitors from about 130 countries. Our Japanese Seafood Pavilion exclusively focuses on high-quality seafoods produced in Japan. We will also hold Japanese seafood cooking demonstrations and tasting events during the exhibition.

Surrounded by a beautiful and bountiful sea, Japan has been blessed with abundant marine resources helping unique culinary cultures to flourish for centuries. Outstanding nature and traditions combined with advanced fishing and processing technologies, have allowed the Japanese people to develop many ways of enjoying fresh and rich seafood flavors over the years. At our Japanese Seafood Pavilion, we will introduce Japanese marine treasures such as Hotate (Scallops), Kaki (Oysters), and much more. You will be able to try their freshness and learn the food products’ background.

Top Table
Besides the Japan Seafood Pavilion, we will also organize promotion events featuring Japanese seafoods, providing visitors with additional incredible tasting experiences. For the Top Table event, we have invited amazing chefs from award-winning and renowned high-end restaurants in Dubai.
Patricia Roig, BOCA’s Executive Chef, will be joining us. Her restaurant is located at the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC). BOCA earned the Sustainable Restaurant Award 2025, thanks to Patricia’s dedication to sustainability in her kitchen. Patricia will be showing us brilliant cooking performances with her modern and artistic techniques, suggesting new ways to enjoy Japanese seafoods.
In addition, Pawel Kazanowski, former top chef at the Japanese restaurant “ZUMA,” a chain with worldwide branches, will also be returning to Top Table this year to showcase his impressive cooking skills.
Patricia and Pawel will demonstrate how to beautifully cook Japanese seafood ingredients also in display at the Japanese Seafood Pavilion, unleashing Japanese seafood’s potential with their sophisticated skills and creativity. The chefs are also scheduled to hold tasting sessions (for 20 people each session) during the exhibition, to delight visitors with wonderful tasting opportunities. Come and dive into the fascinating world of Japanese seafoods with our world-famous chefs.
Furthermore, we will have Mohamad Orfali, Michelin Star Chef, owner and head chef of Orfali Bros Bistro in the Jumeirah district of Dubai, joining us as well. Mohamad will talk about his experiences when visiting Japan as part of JETRO’s Buyer Invitation Program and the allures of Japanese food. His insightful stories will take you on a culinary journey you have never experienced before.

We will also set a Japan Pavilion at the TRADE CENTRE ARENA. At the Japan Pavilion, we will be displaying a wide range of Japanese food products, such as Matcha, instant noodles, and soy sauce. Please visit and explore the flavors of Japanese cuisine at the exhibition.
