【Webinar】16th Japan Regional Innovation Ecosystem Seminar
“Advancing Carbon Neutrality with Fuel Cells and Battery Storage”
Interest in storage batteries and fuel cells—key technologies supporting stable energy supply and efficient utilization—is increasing as the world moves toward a decarbonized society. Technological innovation in these fields is expected to create new business opportunities. To promote the development of regional industrial ecosystems and foster open innovation, JETRO will hold a Japan Regional Innovation Ecosystem Seminar titled “Advancing Carbon Neutrality with Fuel Cells and Battery Storage” At this seminar, Alterno, which develops sand batteries, and Bloom Energy, a developer of fuel cells, will be invited as speakers to present their initiatives. As both companies have already established operations in Japan and are actively engaging in business activities domestically, further collaboration with Japanese companies is anticipated.
We welcome participation from a wide range of stakeholders, including those engaged in decarbonization and energy-related businesses, local governments, companies, and research institutions.
