Japan's U.S. Investment Dynamic provides new perspectives on the value that Japanese companies bring to America's economy.

U.S.-based Japanese manufacturers employed a record level of 418,000 Americans in 2017, more than any foreign investor country. Japanese companies have deployed a record level of R&D capital expenditures in the U.S., and companies from Japan now account for 6% of total U.S. exports.
