In addition to his duties at Peking University Prof. Wang is also Professor at the Party School of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Senior Fellow of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University and Pangoal Institute and TRENDS Institution, and Distinguished Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs of the University of Toronto. Wang was a Member of International Institute for Strategic Studies(IISS), World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Agenda Council (GAC) on the Global Trade System and Asia Society Commission on Asia Pacific Regional Trade Architecture.

Professor Wang has published papers in Chinese, English, Japanese and Spanish on China’s foreign economic policy, global governance, regional cooperation and the World Trade Organization. His opinions have appeared in various media including CNN, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Business Week, The Far East Economic Review, National Public Radio, BBC, Radio France, China Central Television Station, Seoul BS, The Mainichi Shimbun, and others.
