Apiradi Tantraporn

Member, Special Advisory Committee to the Prime Minister

Ms. Tantraporn was appointed to the Prime Minister’s Special Advisory Committee in 2017. 

Prior to that she held numerous posts including Minister of Commerce; Executive Chairperson of The International Institute for Asia-Pacific Studies, Bangkok University; Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Commerce; Director-General, Department of Foreign Trade; Director-General, Department of Trade Negotiations; Director-General, Department of Business Economics, and Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Thailand to the World Trade Organization.

Ms. Tantraporn received a Master Degree in Business Administration on International Trade from Syracuse University, a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Thammasat University, and numerous certificates including GATT Trade Policy Course in Geneva, National Defense College of Thailand, and Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
