[Press Release] JETRO To Host Technology Seminar in Houston

HOUSTON, TX October 7, 2015 – On Thursday, October 22, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will host a free business seminar for U.S. businesses interested in entering the Japanese technology market. The seminar will provide an overview of current Japanese consumer market trends, as well as highlight key industries with the most growth opportunity for U.S. companies. The event will be held at the Houston Technology Center between 8:30-11:00 a.m. and requires pre-registration through JETRO.

Event speakers include Huan Le, Chief Administrative Officer of DiCentral, a leading innovator in supply chain management solutions and B2B integration that successfully opened its first branch in Tokyo in December 2014; Makoto Abe, JETRO’s Japan Technology Advisor with over 25 years of experience working in U.S.-Japan business relations; and Richard Ryan, Director: Commercial Service for the U.S. Department of Commerce.

 

Mr. Abe will address several industries, including FinTech, Wireless and Mobile, BYOD, Gaming, IT Security, M2M and IoT, Data Centers, Cloud Computing, SDx, Smart Grid and Green IT, and Healthcare IT.
