Latest Issue of Focus NEDO

The newest issue of focus NEDO features research and development in the field of LEDs. Innovations in lighting have been made possible by the invention of the blue LED for which three Japanese scientists won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2014.

In this issue’s “Special Dialogue,” NEDO Chairman Kazuo Furukawa sat down with one of the laureates, Professor Hiroshi Amano of Nagoya University, to discuss his ongoing work and NEDO’s role in supporting future research.
