Global Acceleration Hub in Austin

Harnessing Japan's startup potential in the Austin market!

Austin has a well-developed ecosystem called "Austin Model" centered on IC² (IC Square), an industry-university collaboration organization run by the University of Texas. It has one of the leading clusters of high-tech industries in the United States, which has fostered intrinsic industries centered on university-launched ventures. It is also known as "Silicon Hills."

In the past, Austin was known for the development of computers, peripheral equipment, and software. In recent years, however, it has been gaining popularity as a new center for high-tech industries, such as the circular economy, energy, food and agritech, healthcare, transportation, and water. SXSW (South by Southwest), held every March in Austin, is famous worldwide as a gateway to success for venture companies.
