* JETRO is the sponsor of the highly regarded application-based Japan Buyer's Mission Programs. These one to two-week missions are subsidized by JETRO and are typically scheduled around major shows in Japan throughout the year. For selected foreign companies, JETRO also arranges numerous direct meetings with Japanese suppliers and on-site visits to local farms, factories and plants. Air travel, transportation, and accommodations for the Buyer's Mission Program are provided by JETRO.
