Two Japanese Cuisine Workshop events were hosted by JFOODO in Budapest. During these events Yuichiro Akiyoshi, a Japanese Michelin-star chef from Paris, shared his cooking secrets with more than 15 high-end restaurant chefs and food store owners from both Hungary and Slovakia.
Seafood Session Menu (30th of September, 2025):
- Seared Yellowtail (Hamachi) Stick Sushi for Hand Rolls
- Sea Bream Konbu-jime with Sea Grapes, Wasabi, and Pour-over Sauce
- Basic Dashi Stock Ichiban-Dashi
Fermented Food Menu (14th of October, 2025):
- Sea Bream Shiojiru (Salt Soup) with Tofu, Green Onion, Junmai Ginjo Sake, and Shichimi
- Grilled Sea Bream Miso-Marinated with Yuzu Rice
- Squid and Cucumber Sunomono (Vinegared Dish) with Shiso, Myoga, and Sesame
