One of the largest international innovation events in the Kansai region, where startups from around the world come together.

Hack  Osaka  will  feature  Hack Osaka  Award 2021,  a   pitch   contest  with   the  theme   of "Future Society" in  the fields  of Smart  Cities, Healthcare  and  Food  Tech.  Companies  that participate  in  the  pitch  contest  will also  be able   to  participate   in  the   online  business meetings.

・Ten companies are expected to be selected.

・Participation Fee: Free

Application Deadline and Contacts:

Application  and  presentation  material  must be  submitted  by Friday,  October  30,  2020, 5:00pm (Japan time).

1. Must be a start-up company

(No matter  what  stage of growth  or how long the company has been in business.)

2. Companies  that offer  leading edge  products or services using AI, Iot, VR/AR, robotics (automation), digital  marketing,  spatial  monitoring, sensing and data analysis in the fields of smart cities, healthcare, and food tech.

3. The  ability  to  participate  in  online pitch  contests and business meetings.

* The  pitch contest  will air  a pre-recorded  video and include  a live  question and  answer session  (about  3 minutes)   in   which   participating   companies   must participate.

4. Companies  that  have clear plans or  high potential  to invest in Osaka/Kansai in the near future.
