We are pleased to invite you to an online event
Q-Pitch 2022 -Transforming the world from Kitakyushu-
Jan 26th, 2022
10 am-11:30 am (CET)
promoting investment and collaborative opportunities in the industrial city of Kitakyushu (Fukuoka Prefecture).
As a site of the former state-run Yawata Steel Works and a home to headquarters of powerful Japanese companies, such as Yaskawa Electric (industrial robots), TOTO (sanitary ware), Mitsui High-Tech (EV motor cores) or ZENRIN (map data services), Kitakyushu has become an attractive destination for foreign investments.
Selected as a Startup City under the Japanese Government's Startup City Project for creating ecosystems in Japan in 2020, Kitakyushu aims to build a tech-oriented ecosystem centered on its strengths in the environment, robotics, and DX sectors.
As a part of Q-Pitch project, organised jointly by JETRO Kitakyushu branch and Kitakyushu City, participants will be presented with the city's overview, key industries, start-up support measures and some of the collaboration examples from the Kitakyushu Science and Research Park.
The complete agenda for Q-Pitch 2022 is available here.
