GENERAL INFORMATION

1.       Subject: J-StarX Global Growth for Climate Tech in Europe

2.       Term of contract: the contract start date to March 12, 2027

3.       Closing date for Application: May 15, 2026

4.       Content of Contract: As indicated in the Program Specifications (Attachment 1)


INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS


1. Qualification Requirements
1) Prospective candidate(s) engaged in the project must satisfy the conditions stated in the Program Specifications. (Attachment 1)
2) NOT under the circumstances of being denied participation due to unethical and/or unlawful activities by either JETRO or Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) from previous procurement offerings.

3) Prospective candidate(s) must meet the following minimum specification: 

A)Accelerator, Venture Capital or any other related organization 

B)Proven track-record in various European countries  

C)Program dedicated to the Climate Tech industry

 

2. Preparation of Application
No oral, telephone, or facsimile will be accepted. All costs of preparation shall be borne by the Applicants. In addition, the proposal document or presentation submitted by the applicant should include the following.

1) Project Implementation

Implementation Structure (Arrangement of personnel in charge / each responsibility)

Operating Procedure, Method, Proposal on how to complete all the tasks of the project in an effective manner and enhance project outcome

Proposals for the introductory session to build relationships between the mentors and startups and to select the startups who are eligible for further support

Suggestions for climate tech conferences and events that would be beneficial for startups to attend during their in-person travel schedule.

System or platform for tracking mentoring hours and business appointments.

System may be internal, an outside App, SaaS, or other type of communication suggested. 

2) Experience and Capabilities of the Organization

Experience with Similar Projects

System to Manage Personal/Confidential Information

Networking and information gathering skills to enhance project outcome

3) Project Implementation Skills of Assigned Personnel

Mentor network list

Profiles of each project personnel

Climate tech Expertise

 

Upon submission, the applicant agrees to having received, viewed, and accepted the prices outlined in the Cost Guide (see attachment 2) 

3. Delivery of Application

6. Announcement of Tender

Tender will be announced to bidders by email. Given the nature of the bidding process, JETRO will refrain from providing feedback on the results.
