Business Expanding REMBE® GmbH Safety + Control, a German manufacturer of explosion safety and pressure relief products, establishes a Japanese subsidiary in Kanagawa

REMBE® GmbH Safety + Control (REMBE ®) was established in 1973 in Brilon, in the mid-west of Germany. The company develops and manufactures explosion safety and pressure relief products, including rupture discs. All products are manufactured in Germany and meet international regulatory requirements. The company provides customers in a wide range of industries, including oil, gas, food, wood, chemical, and pharmaceutical, with product offerings for all types of their plants and equipment. It also provides ancillary consulting and engineering services.

The company had been supplying its products to Japanese customers through distributors. To increase its market presence in Japan, it established REMBE K.K., its third Asian subsidiary in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, in October 2020.

Upon establishing the company's Japanese base, JETRO's Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided consulting (registration, visa, tax, and labor), marketplace information, and PR support and introduced service providers (certified public tax accountants).
