Israel-Japan Business Forum & Networking Event

As part of a two-day visit by a senior-level delegation from Japan, headed by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, senior Japanese and Israeli top business management participated at the 'Japan Business Leaders Forum & Networking' event in Jerusalem on May 2.

JETRO chairman and CEO, Mr. Hiroyuki Ishige, as well as the deputy minister for strategic affairs and the Prime Minister Abe’s special adviser attended the event. The participation of the two latter senior officials (as well as Israeli ambassador to Japan, H.E. Ms. Yaffa Ben-Ari), testifies to the importance the countries place on the promotion of Israel and Japan’s business and economic ties.

The event opened with greetings by the Israel Export Institute’s chairman, Mr. Adiv Baruch, Mr. Ishige and Mr. Hasegawa. In addition to the businesspeople, the forum and networking event was attended by business organisations and government officials of both sides.
