Hack Osaka is held annually by Osaka City with the slogan of “Open Innovation City” since 2013. During the event participants bring ideas to make Osaka a place where innovations are produced one after another, with the theme of “Power to Connect and Get Connected Produces Serendipity, - Give Before You Get".

Held this year on February 27, Hack Osaka will host Israeli Eye Control Company ( www.eyecontrol.co.il), which developed an application in the health sector to assist those who cannot speak. Hack Osaka 2018 will also host at the panel discussion Mr. Gidi Schmerling, Tel Aviv-Yaffo Municipality's director of media relations & head of the 'Digitel' project, thanks to which Tel-Aviv-Yafo was nominated the smartest city in the world at the Smart City EXPO World Congress in Barcelona.
