U.S.- Japan Economic Relationship and the Current Business Conditions of Japanese Companies in Texas

A new and fresh way of thinking about the U.S.-Japan economic relationship must always include the important topic of direct investment from Japan into the United States.

 

While Japan is #1 leading source of foreign investment in America, the clip also shows the expansion of Japanese companies in Texas as well. The employment of Japanese companies in Texas is increasing at a faster pace than in the United States.

 

According to the JETRO Survey on Business Conditions of Japanese Companies in Texas 2021, we have also discovered that 63% of companies answered that the business direction for the next 1-2 years would be to consider an “expansion”.
