Capturing the timing of the Farnborough International Airshow, the Greater Nagoya Initiative is pleased to provide various activities promoting foreign direct investment (FDI) in the Greater Nagoya (*) region and to offer updated information for the aerospace industry in the region. The symposium is planned to follow the outline below, and is followed by a networking reception hosted by the Governor of Aichi Prefecture.

Located in the center of Japan, the area has one of the biggest manufacturing industries followed by Toyota Motor Corporation, as well as the biggest aerospace industry including airframe manufacturers of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. (KHI), their parts suppliers and material manufacturers such as Toray Industries, Inc..
