Oct 13, 2015

About the event
It is an exciting time to be looking at the Japanese market. The Government of Japan are interested in attracting new investors in order to double foreign direct investment by 2020. The Prime Minister and his Cabinet have begun to enthusiastically promote Japan as location for inward investment as well as showcasing the various incentives and opportunities across this country.

Japan is proud to be the location of choice for two high profile global events that are coming up; the Rugby World Cup 2019 and the Olympics and Paralympics in 2020. Huge business opportunities are expected alongside these events in many areas. We want to promote and highlight the emerging opportunities that are coming to the fore in Japan, as well as provide a chance to hear first-hand the positive points and key to success in market from UK companies who are on the ground in Japan now. As well as this, the challenges to setting up in Japan will also be discussed, offering solutions to companies who are interested in expanding in Japan. This promises to be an exciting occasion and we are looking forward to updating you on the possibilities and charms of this unique and rewarding market. Enjoy this opportunity with free Japanese food and drink!
