Japan Pavilion’s Booth Design
The Japan Pavilion, with a simple wooden lattice enveloping the entire structure, was designed to secure ample space while providing easy access to the exhibited goods. While not overly Japanese, the booth design employs a uniquely Japanese aesthetic to welcome Gift Fair visitors”

Background
+ JETRO and the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) are participating in this year’s Bangkok International Gift Fair by displaying Japanese Pavilion featuring the Japan House.
+ JETRO, Japan’s trade and investment promotion agency, helps grow business both in Japan and Thailand by assisting Japanese companies in their overseas expansion
+ The JDP, which has spent many years promoting Japanese design with its Good Design Awards and other initiatives, is currently engaged in activities that contribute to the development of Thai design.
+ Japan Pavilion, has been operated as part of JETRO’s Asia Caravan that started this year. Apart from exhibition, the business meetings arranged with business persons primarily from Thailand and other ASEAN nations aim to expand business opportunities and promote design in both Japan and Thailand.
