JETRO and the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) launched the Japan-Singapore Co-Creation Platform (JSCCP), a new collaborative framework to promote open innovation between Japan and Singapore earlier this year. We have since held two seminars, introducing Singapore’s position and policies on open innovation to Japanese companies and sharing success cases of multinational
companies.
The third seminar will be held during the Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH) as an official satellite event of SWITCH, with the theme of “Pioneering the Future in Singapore – The Path to Successful Innovation”. We will be holding a networking lunch after the lectures. This is a great opportunity to meet with various key persons. It would be our pleasure if we could make your visit to SWITCH even more meaningful by this seminar.

About the Japan-Singapore Co-Creation Platform (JSCCP) Seminar. The Japan-Singapore Co-Creation Platform (JSCCP) is a collaborative framework agreed upon by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) of Singapore at the Japan-Singapore Economic Dialogue (JSED) held in Tokyo in April this year. In order to promote open innovation between Japan and Singapore, we will act as a bridge between the two countries to promote joint projects, share know-hows, and promote initiatives for business
collaboration as well as the commercialization and international development of research seeds that universities and research institutions have. As part of our activities, we will provide a variety of information and opportunities for Japanese companies in Singapore who already have or are looking into having innovation function in Singapore.
