“STS forum - Latin America and the Caribbean High-Level Conference 2023”

　　The STS forum has been holding workshops as outreach programs at around the world. This year, the first “in-person” Meeting of the STS forum - Latin America and the Caribbean High-Level Conference will be held in Mexico City on March 15, 2023. The conference will be co-organized by the Science and Technology in Society forum (STS forum) and the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs, Government of Mexico, with the support of AMEXCID and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

「STS forum - 中南米・カリブ諸国ハイレベル・カンファレンス 2023」開催のお知らせ

　2004 年から毎秋、京都にて、科学技術と持続可能な社会の発展について国際的な価値観を確立すべく、「科学技術と人類の未来に関する国際フォーラム（Science and Technology in Society forum。以下、STSフォーラム）」の年次総会が開催されています。2022 年も、国内外のノーベル受賞者、科学技術担当大臣、大学や主要企業の幹部など、産官学各界要人が一堂に会し、幅広く議論が行われました。次回（第 20 回）は 2023 年 10 月 1～3 日に開催される予定です。

　STS フォーラムは京都での年次総会のほか、世界各地で STS ワークショップを開催しており、今年 3 月15 日には、対面開催としては初となる STS 中南米・カリブ諸国ハイレベル・カンファレンスをメキシコシティにて開催する運びとなりました。
