  • AJ-Bridge is a business platform for the creation of cross-border open innovation in the digital and green fields with numerous sub-categories within those fields. The objective is cooperation between Japanese companies and overseas startups for the development of new businesses, thereby: business alliance (including technical cooperation, joint R&D, and M&A) and capital alliance (including investment, setting up Joint Venture, etc.)
    There is a Japanese J-Bridge platform for Japanese companies and a English J-Bridge portal (known as "J-Bridge Global") for overseas companies.

  • AExposure to a group of Japanese companies that are interested in forming a strategic partnership with overseas companies. When you sign up and get accepted, your company information, collaboration needs, etc. will be translated into Japanese and posted on the Japanese J-Bridge platform.
    *Please note: the purpose of J-Bridge is to encourage collaboration, not expanding sales channels.

  • AMostly large companies and SMEs as well as overseas branches of Japanese companies and startups/CVCs/etc. The industries include trading, IT, electronics, chemicals, etc., but are generally categorized within digital, green and life science industries.

  • A It varies depending on the season, the activeness of the Japanese company, your request information, etc. Some responses take a week and others take a couple of weeks or more, especially since Japanese companies tend to take time to discuss internally.
