The Sendai-Finland Wellbeing Center: The Center is established with incubation facilities engaged in support of commercialization of healthcare and welfare-related devices and services through coordination with Finland's national project and with a special nursing home based on the Finland style. Companies and universities in Finland and Sendai are working together for the creation of international healthcare- and welfare-related industries. Recently, the center is also engaged in the creation and international development of ICT industries with the aim of expanding such to peripheral areas of healthcare and welfare.
