“Saitama Medical City Plan”
Saitama City has established the “Saitama Medical City Plan” to support the cluster of research-based manufacturing companies centered in Saitama City that are newly entering or expanding their businesses from medical into medical equipment-related industries. Promotion of collaboration with medical conventions and the operation of an industry-academia-government-medical entry support platform together with Saitama Prefecture are being made. The city also implements exchange projects with the medical device cluster in Germany.
