Living environment

Foreign residents account for 4.6% of Osaka City's total population, and this foreign resident-to-population ratio is the highest of any major city in Japan, even including Tokyo. With a history that stretches over about 1400 years, Osaka also offers a large number of cultural heritage sites, historical sites, traditional performances and events.
