Located nearly at the center of the mainland, Nagano Prefecture boasts smooth accessibility not only to the Tokyo metropolitan area and the Chukyo area, but also to the regions along the Sea of Japan.
As the development of the Superconducting Maglev Chuo Shinkansen and the Sanen-Nanshin Expressway is advancing, the prefecture is expected to improve its accessibility to the areas along these routes.
These geographical advantages offer companies the possibility to expand their business strategies.

A number of routes exist leading to the Tokyo metropolitan area, the Chukyo region, the Kinki region, the regions along the Pacific Ocean and the regions along the Sea of Japan, minimizing logistics and distribution risks.
