When we were establishing our company in Hiroshima, we were introduced to an idle factory that matched our requirements and we were also able to receive a subsidy for the promotion of the establishment of companies.

Available incentives

Among the incentives in place are start-up support and factory location incentives for foreign companies via corporate location promotion incentive programs, subsidy programs for purchases of land, building and equipment (maximum of 5 billion yen), and financing programs.

Subsidies for new plants:
Subsidy for equipment investment including manufacturing and research facilities in leading-edge fields related to medical and health care, environment and energy etc. Subsidies for land purchases in prefecture-run industrial complexes, and building and equipment subsidies.(certain cities and towns have their own subsidy programs; applicable until Mar. 2016)
