Hiroshima City is one of the major cities of Chugoku regions with a robust transportation infrastructures starting with an airport, bullet train, and express ways. There is a bullet-train station right in the heart of the City and on top of the fact that Tokyo can be reached within four hours, Hiroshima is connected with expressways or metropolitan expressways to the rest of the major cities in Japan. As a result, the City is endowed with an ideal environment as a logistics hub.
In addition to its advantage due to its geographic proximity to other Asian markets such as China and Korea, there are regular flights and ship services from Hiroshima Airport and Hiroshima Port as well as its cargo container ship routes that link it to major Asian cities inside and outside Japan. Consequently, the City possesses superb accessibility as a gateway into Asia.
The City is connected to the cities in the Chugoku and Shikoku districts and major cities in Japan via expressways. Within the City, urban highways connect to these expressways, providing the best environment for a physical distribution center.
Hiroshima Airport has five domestic routes (to Sapporo, Sendai, Narita, Tokyo, and Naha) and seven international routes (to Seoul, Shanghai, Chengdu, Dalian, Beijing,, Taipei and HongKong). The airport is located approximately 40 minutes from the city center via expressway.
Three regular domestic container routes (to Hanshin, Chiba, Kobe) and five international routes (to Korea, China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia , Taiwan and Manila, and North America)
Hiroshima Station of Shinkansen is located in the city center, providing access to Tokyo in four hours.
