Founded in 2020, Cross The Ages combines blockchain and NFT technology to create a sci-fi fantasy transmedia ecosystem, with experiences spanning books, comics, and games.

Launched in 2020, Cross The Ages is a French company which develops a multimedia ecosystem powered by blockchain. The company creates sci-fi and fantasy intellectual property by combining an expansive universe that includes books, comics, competitive gaming, animation, and collectible items and games which blockchain and NFT technologies are embedded in. Cross The Ages has partnerships with major game industry players like Ubisoft and Square Enix.

The first game, Cross The Ages: TCG, launched on mobile and PC globally in 2023, while new game soft will be launched in 2025. In August 2024, the company established a Japanese subsidiary, CROSS THE AGES JAPAN LLC, in Minato-ku, Tokyo, to conduct sales activities in the Japanese market.

To assist with setting up the company's Japanese subsidiary, JETRO's Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided subsidy/incentive information, introduced service providers, and provided various consultations (registration, visa, tax, and labor).
